Gives the layout and the proposed manufacturer Hadfield's.Print made from a microfilm using a microfilm printer, of "Ballarat Plan 6", a drawing showing trackwork for a new tram depot proposed for the ESCo owned property near the power house. Shows an 8 track tram depot in association with existing Wendouree Parade trackwork. Prepared by Hadfield's Sheffield, drawing No. 6745 as Plan No. 6. Gives details of the proposed rail weights - 90lb and 83lb and location details. Drawing held as one complete assembled print and two part prints. The assembled print was scanned. Postcard - full colour, Divided back type of SW5 840 inbound in Victoria Parade May 1973 with the destination of City, Route 42. Note the hedges on either side of the tram reservation. On the rear has a photo of a destination blind - showing Kew Depot with the words "75 years of Service" underneath, address and stamp blocks, PMTT logo with an A class tram in the centre. .6) Australian Catholic University Ballarat Campus (Aquinas) is set in the historic gardens of Carn Brea, formerly the property of Cornish miner Cyrus Retallack. The property includes a two-storey mansion, which he built as his family home in 1881. Carn Brea, a castle in Cornwall, was built in the 1500s. After the Queen's Church of England Girls' Grammar School acquired the property in 1919, the mansion was renamed Manifold House. Manifold House now accommodates administrative facilities of the campus and staff offices. Australian First World War recruitment poster printed in 1916 most likely referencing the Gallipoli Campaign. It features the image of a woman in a white dress standing in front of a tattered Australian flag against a yellow background. She is pointing to it with her left hand as if asking the viewer if they were there when the flag was damaged. It appeals to the guilt of the viewer that they had not enlisted to help defend Australia at Gallipoli and to their sense of patriotic duty to enlist. The image is in the upper half with the text beneath both set against a red background. Negative No. N383 and black and white print made by a laser printer (stored in folder) of Ballarat No. 35 at the City Terminus in Sturt St, south side with the conductor (appears to be No. 17) standing by the front of the tram. Part of tram obscured by pole with SEC painted tram stop sign, enamel stop sign and end of section sign. Tram has an SEC roof advertisement, "Switch to Electric Cooking" and destination of Gardens via Sturt St. West. In the background is the Commonwealth Bank building, Prouds jewellers and the Odeon Theatre. Date of photo on folder - 30/9/1961. Original negative rescanned 24/5/2020 and image file updated. Printed by a laser printer and then pasted up with the Fares Please! titles and photographs using Scotch Magic tape. Some yellowing of the tape or other tapes used is noticeable.
