The residence was relocated from school number 2242 in Heatherdale Road (Mitcham) south of the railway line to this site in Ringwood Street opposite Charter Street where it adjoined the school when it opened at the corner of Maroondah Highway in 1889. For Rear View of the residence see record 6855Written below photograph, "Old schoolmasters residence - Ringwood St. - 1945".
