Mitcham Model Dairy was owned by Patrick and Mary Davin for 30 years. When they closed, Kew Model Dairy took over their customers. A large gum tree, which was growing ing the Village Green was shedding its branches and as it was growing in a public area and in front of a kindergarten the tree was felled as it was dying.
