This cookbook was compiled by the Neale Street North Pre School Mothers' Club Committee with the forward written by Anne Galvin O.B.E, President of the Bendigo & District Pre-school Association. Anne Galvin was one of Bendigo's best known charity workers and she used her first speech as Mayoress (1944) to indicate her intentions to assist mothers and children. This recipe book includes contributions by the Mayoress of the day (Mayoress Rae), Television Hostesses Corinne Kirby and Ruth Nye and Mrs Bolte and Lady Brooks.
