Fanny Elizabeth nee Minns Parker, daughter of George Minns was born in Norfolk c.1808, married Nicholas Parker in Melton 1874. They had two sons, John Nicholas. Father Nicholas died circa 1877. Their second son George Minns Parker was born 31st December 1876. Fanny’s house contained external decorative features and corner stonework which was also used in the Willows House. Fanny died circa 1919 Fanny Parker was a friend of Ann Myers. Their sons were born in the same decade. The rate books show her as a dressmaker. The girls came from all over Victoria and stayed for two weeks at Blamey House in Kew. At the time Legatee Bert Davis was CFO and his daughter Louise was asked to help with the running of the camp. The Ballarat School of Mines opened in the former Ballarat Circuit Court House in 1870. The court house was demolished in 1915 to make way for the Ballarat Technical Art School.
