This book reveals an aspect of Florence Nightingale's life that has been largely overlooked, namely her profound influence on the health and welfare of the Indian people during the latter half of the nineteenth century. It focuses on her collaborations with British statesmen, specifically the Viceroys of IndiaIllustrated book with dustjacket.
