A biography of John Howard's political career written in his first year holding the office of Prime Minister. Howard was Prime Minister (Liberal Party) from 1996-2007. During his term of office, Howard introduced the Workchoices legislation, Higher Education Workplace Regulation Requirements and the ABCC which were all targeted at diminishing the powers of the union movement.
