This tram was built in 1913 for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust. When first in use it was number 35. It was sold to the State Electricity Commission of Victoria and became number 40 in 1951. Ballarat Tramway Museum purchased the tram in 1971. It was the last tram to run when it ran from Sebastopol to the depot on 19 September 1971. The photograph shows Victorian Railways tram 40 standing at the St Kilda Railway Station terminus of the Brighton Tramway. Shows arrangement of the tram stop, verandah, kiosk and a butchers shop. Colour print of former SECV Ballarat 43 on display in Queens Park Geelong. The tram was No. 40 in Geelong and later was given this number at the park. The tram was donated to Geelong APEX by the SECV and subsequently was acquired in 1986 by the TMSV. The teaspoon made by Perfection Plate, of the Galaxy style or type. The case has yellow plastic base, with clear top, with a paper insert, with word "Perfection" On the rear of the case is the wording "Perfection". The teaspoon is silver plated, with the tram in a picture 18mm square. The teaspoon is marked "Galaxy" on the rear. Tea spoon is 112mm long x 25mm wide. Case is 125mm high, 32mm wide, by 16mm deep.
