In the 1990s and early 2000s, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria conducted a range of exercise classes under the theme, "Move It Or Lose It". One such class was a pole exercise class for the Vietnamese community, designed for people 60 years of age and over. The launch of National Arthritis Week 1991 was held with an event in Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne. On the 27th of May, 1994, the foundation plaque of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new headquarters was unveiled. Named the Percy Baxter Arthritis Centre, the official unveilling was conducted by the Premier of Victoria, the Honourable Jeff Kennett (1948-). Located at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick, the construction of the new building was nearing completion. As part of the 1992 National Arthritis Week events, there was a Joint Walk through the Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens. This series of photos were taken in 1996 at the launch of the bilingual "Move it or Lose it" brochures for the Italian community. As a result of a commitment by the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV), incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria (OV), to better reach and serve the multicultural community, bilingual brochures were produced in several languages. On the 27th of May, 1994, the foundation plaque of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new headquarters was unveiled. Named the Percy Baxter Arthritis Centre, the official unveilling was conducted by the Premier of Victoria, the Honourable Jeff Kennett (1948-). Located at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick, the construction of the new building was nearing completion. In 2001, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria held a morning tea to thank the members and professionals who had participated in its innovative television exercise program, "Move It of Lose It". The program was broadcast on Community Television station, Channel 31.
