The FOX FM PhysiCAL Blade was a rollerblading competition held in the year 2000. The event was a fundraiser for Osteoporosis Victoria, and a total of $2000 was raised. In this photo, Wayne Lyons, (Sales Manager of Paul's Victoria), presents a large novelty cheque to Pauline Satchell (Manager of Fundraising & Marketing at Arthritis Victoria, incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria). Pauline was also the leader of the Osteoporosis team in the competition. On the 5th of December 1997, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV), incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria (OV), recognised several of its volunteer members with an Oustanding Service Award. The annual volunteers' celebration, which coincided with International Volunteers' Day, was held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Lou Richards (1923-2017), former player and captain of the Collingwood football team, was the special guest. In this photo, award recipients pose for a group photo while holding their awards.
