In this photo, Governor McGarvie, Mrs Lesley McGarvie, and the AFV's founder and President, Rheumatologist Dr Leslie Koadlow, pose for a photo beside a bronze plaque commemorating the official opening of the new building. This photo appears on page 2 of the Vol 7 No 4, Summer 1994 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. Named the Percy Baxter Arthritis Centre ...The Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new headquarters was officially opened on the 19th of October, 1994, by the Governor of Victoria, Richard E McGarvie. Named the Percy Baxter Arthritis Centre, the new building is situated at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick.
