The Annual Meeting of the Ballarat Tramways Preservation Society was held On Saturday, 10 August, 1974. The President of the Society, Mr Calnin, outlined the plans to have the trams back on the tracks by Christmas 1974. Thirty members had applied for training to crew the trams.
