The 'Sewing Kit' and its contents was a standard issue item as used by servicemen during the conflict in Vietnam (1962-1973). This kit belonged to Lt Ian Francis Ahearn (235307) , Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery Service Number 235307, 12th Field Regiment 19 Feb 1968 to 04 Feb 1969. This item was donated by I F Ahearn, who served as a Lieutenant with the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery, 12th Field Regiment in 1968-9.
