Fall, an Englishwoman who has been here 19 years, and has nursed in N.S.W. hospitals, will be in charge of 1st Australian Base Hospital...Her mother was a war nurse.' 'Matron Safe, of Victoria, will be in charge of 2nd Australian Base Hospital, ranks equally with Matron Fall.'
