In 1885 the Melbourne Hunt Club moved its operations from Caulfield to Deer Park. As part of this move the Hunt Club built the Hunt Club Hotel as a base for its members, The Hunt Club has been through many iterations since these early days and is currently operating as a community arts centre. In November 1989, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria launched its "Children with Arthritis Family Support Group" brochure at the McDonald's restaurant in Deer Park. Depicted in this photo are Robert Daniel, Manager of McDonald's Deer Park, with Glen Arbuckle, one of the children attending the launch. This Photograph appears on page 12 of the Vol 2 No 4, November 1989 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. It accompanies an article titled, "McDonald's and Pfizer help juvenile arthritis".
