Mr.and Mrs Don Jessup and Mr.and Mrs.Ted Jessup presented the teaset to the then President of the Bright and District Historical Society, Mrs. Gwyneth Millar. Belonged to Miss Elizabeth Bull, born in 1851, who came to Australia with her parents R & L Bull and settled in Bairnsdale, in Eastern Victoria in the 1860s. Donated by Mrs A. S. The ball was held in the Parish Hall in October 1947. This was the first debutante ball held in Linton after the end of World War II. Organisers were Mrs H. D.
