It contains many individual stories of personal experiences from people and workers who lived through the huge conflagrations during late 2019 and early 2020. These fires were enormous, with huge impact for much of Victoria and nearly all of East Gippsland. Survival, recovery and hope are amongst the many themes. It is a book with many authors who contributed their stories and recollections.
