Elizabeth Nettleton, with husband Geoff Mosley and son Will, moved to Hurstbridge and found creative energy for her art, specialising in rugs. The artist, Clifton Pugh, grew up in Briar Hill. He served in WWII and settled at Cottles Bridge, building his own house and forming Dunmoochin artist colony. He married three times and had two sons.
