The Shire of Grenville was proclaimed in 1864. The Shire offices and hall are believed to have been completed by the mid 1860s. Photograph is dated to 1880s from names of Council members and Shire officers.Original sepia photograph showing a group of men standing outside the Shire Council offices at Linton.
