Geoffrey Mainwarring taught art at the Ballarat School of Mines, and had served as an Australian War Artist.Twenty-two life drawings in pencil and charcoal drawn by Jan Edwards, with suggestions, modelling and drawing ratios drawn onto, and around the work, by tutor Geoffrey Mainwaring. One drawing, a head study, is totally by Geoffrey Mainwaring, but is not signed.
