Tram 13 was built by Meadowbank Manufacturing Company, Sydney in 1915 for Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust, Tram 68. In 1928 it became Tram 30 of the Geelong Fleet. Transferred to Ballarat in 1938 and numbered 13. When the trams stopped in 1971 it was donated to the Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Society. Returned to Ballarat in 1983 and re-entered service in 1988. The photograph shows the tram turning from Wendouree Parade into Macarthur Street and the section known as View Point in 1971. Set of two photographs of Ballarat No. 13 in the storage shed at the Lake Goldsmith property. On closure of the Ballarat tramways, this car was donated to the Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Society and returned to Ballarat in 1983 on loan to the Ballarat Tramway Museum. Green and cream tram with the SEC Logo on the side and the number 13. It is outside the shed of the Ballarat Tram Museum located near Wendouree Lake and the Gardens. Tram 13 is a single truck with drop ends and an open California combination. It was built in 1915 for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust. In 1928 it was used in Geelong and then transferred to Ballarat in 1936. When the Ballarat tramways closed it was donated to the Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Society and returned to Ballarat on loan in 1983.
