In August 1873, four of the crew were killed and the other four injured when the Pilot schooner Rip was overwelmed in heavy seas at the Heads. But before she goes, she is determined to break a world-record of her own, to match her brother’s. The Royal Australian Mint are supplying the coins and Questacon have tasked their best scientists and mathematicians with the mechanics.
