Overtime, many different Scout groups were formed, up to seventeen, with strong participation in the community. This included competitions, camping trips, festivals, and philanthropic activities. The many groups that once existed has now, in 1015, been reduced to two, that is 1st and 4th Kew. Kew and Kew East troops consist of Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers.
