The Port of Melbourne was leased to private operators post 2015, State Govt remains landowner and regulatory authority. The Company of Master Mariners continues a regular association with the Mission to Seafarers regularly holding events and meetings on the premises.The Port of Melbourne insignia on this desk lectern may well be replaced in subsequent decades. The presentation of a cheque by the Mayoress, Mrs L TURNER was held in the Mayor's Room at the Port Melbourne Town Hall.
