Stoneware cylindical filter with glazed exterior surface with Australian Coat of Arms in the centre and concave limestone filter insert. Removeable lid with two handles. A chrome tap is inserted in a cork plug at the base.
Number 4 (gallons) stamped on the rim. Cornwell's pottery Brunswick stamped on the base. W Candy and Fitzroy applied above and below the scrolls on the front.
