Dough was put in forcer/case/cylinder and wooden pin pressed down to force dough out as a star-shaped biscuit. In use in a working-class home in the mid 20th century.

Physical description

Tin/metal outer cylinder/case/open one end, lid other end, with star pattern (can be removed for washing). Inner wooden pin or forcer, knob on end to be pushed into metal cylinder to force dough out through patterned disc.
