This gold ring inscribed with the initials E.P.once belonged to Mrs Emma Parrot (nee Hales ) who married to Charles Parrot in 1857. The Parrot family were some of the earliest settlers in the district and there is now a Parrot Street in Cobden.
This is a plain gold band that is known as a wedding ring and was given by a man to his wife on the occasion of their marrige.
This medal was awarded to William (Bill) John Thomas HEYWOOD by the Victorian Country Football League in 11963
This item is historically and socially significant because the person to whom it was awarded, granted land for the first football ground at South Pyurrumbete in the 1920s. This donation of land shows the community and sporting interests of Bill Heywood, as does his continuing interst in the South Purrumbete football Club over many years. This ground is still in existence today.
A wooden shield shaped board incorporating one large central aluminium shield naming the contest, with an Australian crest at the top and including a pictures of a cow at the bottom. Surrounmding the large shield are 12 small aluminium plaques.
