Ballarat became a city in 1870. The special centenary meeting was held on Wednesday 9 September 1970
Large white soft covered booklet including the notice programme for the centenary meeting of the City of Ballarat. It includes a City of Ballarat Logo, meeting agenda, and images of Sturt Street, central portion of the City, and the first survey of the Ballarat Township (1852).
