Significance

Painted by Victor Litherland who arrived in Creswick in 1938. He became a noted artist represented in major collections. He painted in the naive style and recorded his history of the town.

Gouache painting on paper of the old Creswick Fire Station and Town Hall (now the home of the Creswick Museum), done in naive style.
