These posters were displayed at Ballarat Station prior to the 150th anniversary of the Geelong to Ballarat railway on Tuesday 10th April 2012. The open day was Saturday 14th April.

Sketch was done as a sample of the artist's work when a drawing was sought to be the picture of the station on the interpretive sign planted at Yendon station. Although this is an excellent interpretation of the station building, it was thought to be too detailed for the purpose.

Pen and ink detailed drawing of Yendon station building, with 2 people standing on the platform. Frame is timber, 50mm wide, mat black, with an 8mm silver trim around the cut-out hole.

Enamel badge, with stick pin and clasp, in a plastic bag attached to City of Greater Geelong letterhead paper. The top half of the badge is white with black writing 'Geelong Ballarat Railway' and the bottom half of the badge is black with white writing '150 years'. It was part of the gift bag given to those who rode on the reenactment train, 10 Apr 2012.

The sign is shown in photo P , taken on the western platform in 1967. Just prior to demolition of the station, the sign was taken by Ian Smith of Buninyong, and kept by him until its donation to the YHG.

This book was used as a record of corporal punishment to children at the Yendon State School between the 1920's until 1972. It has the signatures of the teachers of the period and dated.

Inside the front cover it has a list of rules related to disipline and how the corporal was to be carried out.

Grey book with No.719 on front cover which was used as a register for corporal punishment. It has had several pages torn out. The first recorded date of entry is 8/6/33 until 22/7/1982.

Used to record the absences of teachers at Yendon Public School from 1904 to 1983. Instructions for used printed inside the front cover. Gives dates and reason for absence, and countersigned periodically by the District Inspector.

It is significant because it lists the school staff for a long period. It is also socially significant because it gives information about staff training, health issues, family details and weather.

Small grey paper covered book used at Yendon Public School (no. 719) to record the absences of school teachers, from 1904 to 1983. The spine is bound with blue tape. The pages have torn away from the cover, which is torn and water-marked.
