Beazley Trade Scholarships. William Beazley was born in London in 1854 and arrived in Australia with his parents in 1855. Apprenticed as a saddlemaker he eventually became an estate agent and later local parliamentarian for Collingwood. Beazley lived all his life in Collingwood and following his death in 1912 part of his estate was bequeathed to Collingwood Technical School.
