Building - Police Station

Historical information

One-room police station was built in 1869 in Maffra and moved c.1882 to a new site in Maffra, by the new police residence office. The office was enlarged in 1936, incorporating the old police station.

Significance

High local historic significance on account of age.

Physical description

A small timber building, rectangular in shape with a gabled corrugated iron roof. There is a small hood over the rear entrance of the station.
