The lantern slides were most probably used at the Ballarat School of Mines.

The image of Rome from St Peter's (Vatican) was taken before 1929. The "Via Conciliazione", built by Mussolini in 1929 is not present in the image.

Hinged timber box designed to hold glass lantern slides. The box contains 50 lantern slides including:
