Physical description

Manpack portable HF transmitter/receiver consisting of two main units mounted in webbing pouches (worn in place of 1937 pattern infantry basic pouches). Crystal controlled radio for use in areas where VHF radio not viable, eg jungle.
Operating range 3 to 5 miles
The radio and all equipment comes in a wooden transit case
