Albert Steane was an early teacher of Sloyd and was appointed Principal of the Ballarat Junior Technical School in 1913.
Printed Victorian Education Department certificate on parchment. It certifies that Albert Alfred Whitelock Steane was successfully examined in Field Exercise part 1 and 2, and was deemed competent to give instruction in Military Drill.
