Early pre world war II, home movie projector. Several series followed made by the same company and were very popular

Significance

Kodak brand and film was internationally recognised brand which dominated projection, camera and film until a shift towards digital media resulting in subsequent decline including the ceassation of camera film production in 2013.

Vintage Eastman Kodak Kodascope Model EE series II . 16mm film projector The lens is a 2-Inch by Eastman Kodak.

Inscriptions & markings

The plaque on the front of the projector reads: “Kodascope, Model EE, made in the U.S.A. By Eastman Kodak Co, Rochestor, N.Y., Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. off., 100-125 volts, 850 watts, for use with slow burning film only, patents in U.S.A. 1,461,794, 1,507,357.”
