Photo shows the first ladies cricket team in Victoria against the Walhalla men's team. This was one of the first steps towards sexual equality.

Merryweather Fire Cart, Merryweather & Sons, 1903
Item is a red Merryweather Fire Pump. Item is pulled to scene of the fire by horses and the a team of men move the handles on each side in a see-saw motion pumping water from the creek into hoses to fight the fire. Item is situated on top of fore wooden Spock wheels, each with a steel band around the out side. The cart features leaf suspension, outlets on each side, foldable handles on each side, Compartments on each side for hose storage and room to seat six firefighters plus the driver.

Item stand on for legs and has a tape on the front. It has a tin lid and tarnished copper inside bowl. externly the item is black in colour with white specks.

'NATIONAL' Cash Register, National Cash Register (NCR), 1903
This cash register was made in 1903 at Dayton, Ohio (USA) by the National Cash Register (NCR) company, which still operates today manufacturing commercial equipment, including Automatic Teller Machines. Mr. Thomas Watson, the founder of International Business Machines (IBM), started as a traveling salesman for NCR.
This register came from a shop owned by Mrs. Dulcie Anderson near the Star Hotel in Walhalla.
This cash register consists a brass register that is now heavenly tarnished. The register has two mechanical displays on the back and fore on the front. The register is siting on a wooden chest with a dark varnish and cash draws ladled A,B,D,E,H,K, with draw E missing the metal letter.

Clements Tonic Bottle, Unknown, circa 1848 to 1950
Used in Victorian psychiatric hospital between 1848 and1950. Clements Tonic contained herbs, vitamins and minerals and was used to improve general well-being.
This bottle is rectangular in shape with tapered corners, giving the bottle 8 flat sides and is made from brown glass. The name of the product is molded down the length of the bottle.
This bottle always remains the property of CLEMENTE' TONIC Limited

This item is cone in shape and appears to have been sealed with a cork.. Clag glue was sold in these jars in the early to mid 1900's

Medicein - Blood Mixture, Melbourne Glass Bottle Works co, 1900 to 1915
Bottle is sealed with a cork and contains a third of a bottle of the Medicine. A paper label is glued to on side of the bottle, the label is in poor condition. the bottle is in good condition

Sash, 1910 (estimated)
This sash is approx 110 years old and was presented to Simon Whitford Campbell on completing accreditation to enter the Ancient Order of Foresters Organisation. Donated by decendants of his family.
The Ancient Order of Foresters sash is only one of a handful left in existance from the local Walhalla order and is at least 110 years old who was born and lived in Walhalla
Lime green taffeta sash with red tassles hand stiched on. Top half of sash has PCR embroildered on it in Gold. Brown Elk head in a gold crown with 2 arrows with blue tips and a brown horn. Underneath is the Coat of Arms
Top end of sash letters "P.C.R"/under the Coat of arms"UNITY, BENEVOLENT & CONCORD" below this is "ANCIENT ORDER of FORESTERS" all embroidered
