The family of Miss Carol Pedersen-Green migrated to Australia from Norway c1900 and probably brought this desk set with them.
A desk set comprising a wooden base with 2 cut outs for 2 clear glass ink wells with silver hinged lids. A ledge on either side to hold pens. and 4 rubber stops under base to maintain stability
