Significance

This photograph holds and protects from ageing, part of a very significant occasion, the 90th birthday photograph of the matriarch Claire Roper, one of the founding grazier families from Tawonga within the Kiewa Valley This photograph therefore hold a very historical significance and has good exhibition value.

This black and white photograph was professionally taken on Kodak paper in the time of the Australian Melbourne Olympics 1956.
