The book was presented to the Ballarat School of Mines by Allan Bernaldo.

Allan Thomas Bernaldo (b. 1900, Creswick. d. 1988, Melbourne) was a former student at the Ballarat School of Mines Technical Art School. In 1917 he was presented a medal 'for the most meritorious Art student'.

He was known for his watercolours, and subjects such as horses and flowers. Bernaldo's popularity was at its height during the 1930s and 1940s.

Physical description

Brown hard covered book of 59 pages, with a black dustjacket that includes a painting of a vase of white flowers. The book is the recollections of Alan Bernaldo.
