This award was presented to the Russian Welfare Society on 10 December 2003
This Award is recognition of the service the Society has provided to the Victorian community.
This award is a compilation of a certificate (Item no. 00006A) and a medal (Item no. 00006B). The award has a gold coloured decorative frame with a navy blue background. The medal is bronze with a small descriptive plaque beneath it. It is mounted on a blue velvet background.
Certificate (00006A): "Victoria's Аward for Excellence in Multicultural Affairs - Award for Meritorious Service in the Community awarded to St John of Kronstadt Russian Welfare Society Inc" It is signed by the Hon. Letter from John Landy, Governor of Victoria, 2005
Congratulatory letter received by the Russian Welfare Society from John Landy, Governor of Victoria, on the occasion of the Society's Golden Jubilee.
This letter recognises the service that the Russian Welfare Society has given to people in the Victorian community between 1955-2005. The then Governor of Victoria, John Landy (who was also the Patron of the Society) paid tribute to "the commitment, dedication and care for others provided by staff and volunteers".

This letter is recognition of the Russian Welfare Society's work in the Victorian community with Australians of Russian and Slavic backgrounds between 1955 and 2005 from the then Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard. The year 2007 marked two occasions for Russian migrants living in Australia, especially those who associate with the "White Movement" - the 200th year of diplomatic relations between Australia and the (then) Russian Empire (now the Russian Federation). These stamps also commemorate the first official visit of Grand Duchess Maria of Russia - heir of the Romanoff dynasty - to Australia.

Cross of Mercy, Community Award for Service & Philanthropy
This medal was commissioned by the St John of Kronstadt Russian Welfare Society to commemorate 90th anniversary of the repose of St John of Kronstadt.
Awarded to certain members of the Russian community in recognition of their service and charity. This Medal was awarded by St John of Kronstadt Russian Welfare Society to Mr Anatole Karel OAM.
Cross shaped Medal (in red enamel) with gold circular centre featuring a relief of St John of Kronstadt. The medal hangs from a jewelled crown which is attached to a red material sash ribbon. the medal is kept in a blue velveteen box (Catalogue item 00002b).
On circular centre of medal around relief depiction of St John of Kronstadt written in Russian "St John of Kronstadt 1908". The back of the medal has the following inscriptions (in Russian) "RWS\For Service and Philanthropy\No 2".
