A vintage tool made of wood either Beech or fruit wood and used to hold an item to a bench or table used in the same way a clamp or vice would hold an item to stop it moving around while it was being worked upon or used.

Significance

No information available however similar items were made by the Grand Rapids Furniture Company in America around the 1900s
