A caulking tool is used in the process of waterproofing joins in timber. It has been well used, as evidenced by the broken edges on the flat round head.

Caulking tool, single crease offset iron, 2⅛". The flat head is partially broken. Inscription stamped into stem. Made by Mathieson.
