The map was pirated from Frederick Proeschel's "Pocket Map of the Roads to all the Gold Mines in Victoria" issued earlier in 1853.

Digital file of the Map of the Roads to all the Gold Mines in Victoria. The map has been coloured to show routes to the Victorian goldfields from Melbourne and Geelong.
