Around the 1960s Vegemite produced a jar with a metal lid that could be used as a drinking glass after all the Vegemite was eaten. Many families had a number of vegemite glasses used by children as drinking tumblers.
Vergemite was invented by Ballarat School of Mines alumni Cyril Callister.
Physical description
A small glass with three lines glass the the rim. It is known as a vegemite glass.
