These handmade nails came from the Orbost Station homestead. this was built in Forest Road around 1882. the homestead had large rooms, French windows and a verandah all the way around.
As a young girl Grace Jennings Carmichael (poet) lived at the Orbost station homestead with her family.
Nine long hand-made nails with square edges. The ends are blunt.
