A copy of two page typed report by Hilary Bullock and Rosalind Landells, dated 18/01/1990, on the history of Hengar, a dower house built for the Langdon family in 1887/1888. The report includes an explanation of the term dower house, outlines the land sale history since 1851 and gives a brief history of the occupancy of Hengar from 1888 to 1989.
The file also includes one page of undated, unattributed handwritten working notes.
