Possibly part of the Uebergang collection.
The moulds are placed under pressure during the maturation process with excess moisture being forced out through the holes in the lid.
This is one of a set of moulds with a size range 5lb, 10lb, 15lb, 20lb, 40lb, 80lb.

Physical description

Round galvanised steel cheese hoop with strap handles soldered to the sides. The round lid has 6 holes.
