A brief history of Robert Whatmough's apple tree chest as inscribed on paper and attached to inside lid of chest. Contains photographs of the chest and articles about the owners and makers. This chest was made from the trunk of an apple tree washed down the Plenty River to Greensborough in 1878. [Published c2012]
