A personal letter, on thick paper, complete with envelope, sent to Sgt Major Strong of the 4th Australian Light Horse when he was recuperating in hospital.
It was from John Horton (?) of the Welch Horse Brecon Wales, dated 11 Oct 1915. It appears to be an offer of a commission in the 2nd Regiment Welch Horse, commanded by Lord Kenyon
